Information and Guidance
Three distinct guidance documents have been created to assist those who may become involved in the process:
The individual guidance explains what academic credits are, how learning from experience and training can be used to help access and gain an academic qualification, along with a variety of other things that should be considered if you are thinking of undertaking study for academic or professional qualifications.
The force guidance explains the principles behind the RPL process, how it will work and some of the ways that forces might be able to support their staff. It also highlights the considerations forces may need to have in offering any support.
The HEI and Recognised Qualification provider guidance explains the principles behind the College RPL process and how you can join, what the online tool and College Directory is and how you can be part of it.
